How to Get to Siargao
Siargao Island is located in the northeastern part of Mindanao and is highly accessible from major Philippine cities. The most convenient way to reach Siargao is by flying to General Santos City (GenSan) or Butuan City, then taking a domestic flight or bus to Surigao City. From Surigao City, you can take a ferry to Dapa Port on Siargao Island, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Alternatively, fly directly to Siargao via Siargao Airport if coming from Manila.
From Manila, expect a total travel time of 3-5 hours depending on connections. Local tricycles and vans are readily available from Dapa Port to transport you to your accommodation in General Luna or other areas of the island.
